He completed his undergraduate studies at the Department of Electronic Engineering of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens (1995). He holds a Master’s Degree from the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Brunel University in the United Kingdom in Data Communication Systems (2000). He completed his doctoral dissertation at the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering of Brunel University in the field of Chaotic Circuits and Systems for Telecommunication Applications (2007). In addition, he has been a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Department of Medicine, 2nd Pediatric Surgery Clinic of Papageorgiou Hospital (2008) in the development of electronic medical devices. In 2009 he was elected Professor of Applications at the Department of Electronic Engineering of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. Since 2016 he has been serving as an Assistant Professor, in the field of Development of Analog & Digital Devices and Chaotic Circuits. He has taught in the undergraduate study programs of the Departments of Electronic Engineering and Biomedical Engineering. In addition, he has taught in the Postgraduate Programs of the Departments of Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the BRUNEL University of the United Kingdom and the Department of Electronic Engineering of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. He has supervised postgraduate theses in the Departments of Informatics and Communications of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the BRUNEL University of the United Kingdom and of the Department of Electronic Engineering of the Technological Educational Institution of Athens.
