Ioannis Christakis is a Laboratory Faculty member of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the University of West Attica. He holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens and a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Limoges (France). He holds a Master’s degree in Image Composition and Graphics from the University of Limoges (France) and a Master’s degree in Pedagogy from the University of West Attica (Greece). His PhD is in the field of air quality measurement and monitoring systems, from the University of West Attica. He worked as a telecommunication and network engineer at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. He has been employed as a field engineer for electrical data measurements, and has carried out studies, in wireless network links, VoIP telephony and DVB-T digital TV. He has also been a collaborating researcher in ESA TRP, Enhancement of SimSat Engine, IOT_EMISSION_T1EDK-00242, EACEA Erasmus+ KA2, GRAPHEIN_T1EDK-02093, MERIAVINO” HORIZON ERANET ICT-AGRIFOOD 2019. His research interests focus on the areas of electrical and electronic measurement technologies, measurement systems and devices and integrated measurement systems.
