Dr Sotiria Kripotou studied Physics at the University of Crete and holds MSc and PhD degrees in Physics from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). She worked for several years as a researcher in the frame of research programs at NTUA. In 2023 she was appointed Assistant Professor at the University of West Attica. Her scientific interests include the relationship between structure and ionic conductivity in ionic liquids, dielectric, thermal and hydration properties of materials, structure – property relationships in materials of technological interest and molecular dynamics in soft matter. She is the author of 45 original publications in scientific journals, conference proceedings and books. Her research work has received more than 700 citations.
