Ioannis Christakis, Andronikos Loukidis and George Tsonos joined the lab as PHD students in December 2018. Ioannis will work on the “Design, implementation and interconnection of environmental-measurement electronic-systems using IoT technologies”. Andronikos will study “Weak electric signals and acoustic emissions as a tool to investigate criticality of mechanical status of materials”. George’s project is entitled «Optical and Electric Properties of Ionic Liquids».
Sofia Panagopoulou, Ilir George and Theologos Migkos also joined the lab as MRes students. The will work on “Tissue phantom preparation and optical characterisation”, “Interconnection methodologies for IoT pollution monitoring systems” and “Development of low cost aerosol pollution measurement systems using IoT”, respectively.
